A former Captain in the Army National Guard and a University of South Carolina grad, 34-year-old Tyron (Ty) McFarlan brings a unique background to Ringling Bros., having appeared in Ragtime, Jesus Christ Superstar, Showboat, and as one of Ford Motor Company's "Tough Guys" for its F-150 ad campaign.

McFarlan describes his good fortune in being selected as Ringmaster as an occasion to "celebrate life" and looks forwards to sharing his excitement with his three-year-old daughter, Nymah, who'll visit him on the road throughout the show's tour.
